Mosque Funding - Ecuador Quito

Assalaam-u-aliakum brothers and sisters,
There is a project to complete the mosque, that was recently expanded and refurbished in the capital of Ecuador - Quito.
The mosque had an original capacity for 40 muslims. There were no wudhu, toilet or storage facilities. Donations from a visiting tabliki Jamaat travelling from Qatar donated to improve the mosque.
This mosque was also expanded (they bought the neighbouring house from a local). To complete the refurbishment and to add finishing touches they require a final £25,000.
Brothers if you need further information about this worthy and noble project, then please do contact the admin team. They have photos of this project and the work that has been completed-to-date.

Salam alaykom....I am a sister who converted to Islam in the USA although I was born in Ecuador. I found out about Islam, alhamdolila through my husband who is from Lebanon. He will be travelling to Quito tomorrow so, I hope he gets to visit the mosque, since I was not able to do so when I was there in March.
Mashallah que alguien haya dado fondos para ayudar a que aya mejora en la mesquita de Quito. Yo tambien estoy intentando recaudar fondos de algunos paises musulmanes para que asi reciban bendiciones y para que podamos ayudar a otras personas aprender mas acerca del Islam, proveer mas informacion, proveer donde rezar, estudiar y tambien, servir como ayuda para la comunidad tambien, inshaAla.
Quisiera que el sheikh Yahya o AbuBaker o la Hermana Layla se comuniquen conmigo. No pude conocerles en persona en marzo cuando estuve en Quito pero tuve el honor de hablar con el hermano AbuBaker un poquito.
Que Dios les bendiga por su trabajo y por ayudar a guiar y educar a los Ecuatorianos acerca del Islam. Inshala yo con mi esposo y mis hijos podamos mudarnos a Quito en un año para asi formar parte de esta gran causa y sentirnos mas cerca a Ala.

OHHH me acabo de dar cuenta que esta mesquita es la del Eloy Alfaro! Yo estuve ahi en marzo, lleve 20 Koran en espanol de parte de los estudiantes de la universidad en donde estudio. Conoci a la esposa del sheikh y conversamos un ratito y luego rezamos juntos, el salat al jumaa, alhamdolila.
